The Theft of Genes

The footsteps echoed through the dark and gloomy alleyway of New York City. Jack was walking at an average pace with a grey suitcase in his hands, wearing a black and elegant suit, with a tie.  As the alleyway opened on to a bright glare of colors shining from the big buildings of New York City, jack was joined by two more shadows. These two shadows behind him were wearing an elegant hat and two long coats, one was a girl named Robin and the other was a guy named Jesse. They continued to walk in a disordered line and after 5 minutes of walking they were greeted by two more people. These two additional people wore the same outfits (or quite similar) to Jesse and Robin but instead of being one boy and one girl they were both males. In this format all five of them casually walked into a building which was a bank and home of the third riches man alive. This wealthy man was known for being selfish and arrogant.

 The job of these five people is easy to explain but hard to fulfill. Jack the leader of the group as some would think of him was a very smart man and was physically quite strong. But he had no money, and because of this his family was slowly dying. Then one day as rage was flowing through is body and since the technology was dramatically improving. Jack had sat down at his working table and with medical supplies that he could find he invented a shot of some sort which could take only one cell from your DNA by only injecting the needle that could with a force of air suck out one of your cells but yet not harm you nor take any of your blood. This was because there was a mini vacuum within the needle. After a long argument with himself jack had found out that he wanted to take money from the selfish rich people and share it to the ones in need including himself. After finding people who would feel the same way about his plan in the most remote places of the globe he had ask them for more money so that he could perfect his gene taking needle so that he could actually choose the type of gene he wanted in that particular moment. From that moment until now Jack and his crew had already bankrupt 5 rich people and not given any evidence to the police since they use the appearances of other people. For example, by taking someone’s gene for long hair (hair cell) and by taking someone’s fingertip pattern (of course this was not done by a needle but by a glass plate which when you press on top of someone’s finger tips the left over skin as well as the pattern itself prints onto the glass therefore they can put it gently on their skin and walkthrough through touching anything in their will as if being someone else.) This shot only lasted three hours since the cell that’s holding on to your DNA slowly turns itself off and immediately the protein it was providing or the ability is no longer in your possession. This is program to turn off since it’s officially not part of your natural DNA nor was it in the code for you to get. Since your DNA is located in your chromosomes and your chromosomes are located within the nucleus of every single cell this would mean that Jack would have to find which kind of gene he took and apply it where it is meant to go like being a hair cell would go around your hair area or any other type of cell since there are 10-50-100 trillion cells in your body, same goes as for taking the gene. Now you’re asking yourself does this start to wear off the moment they get the sample of DNA? Well the answer is no because inside the shot when they capture the gene (of their choice) it freezes it so it’s unable to move nor produce anything. But as soon as they put it inside their body the warmth of your blood and body heat unfreezes it. There is also a limit jack made to how much DNA they can take. Since DNA gives you protein and functional RNA chains. If having too much protein it can overdose and pressuring your organism into handling that much protein. This jack learned from experience.

Jack was looking for a group of people which could help with the robbery genetically speaking. He wanted one who was strong, one girl who was flexible and athletic, one who was not scared of fear and the other who could climb really fast, and since he was smart they had all these good trades which they could take from each other. If some other genes were required like for example in this very mission were they needed the jump in distance from an athlete. They would go out find the athlete that has this trait and would inject the shot into his legs.  Now Jack beforehand had calculated that not all the people would survive this mission that the last person to leave to the building top and jump on to 4 other buildings would run out of time and wouldn’t have the genes of the athlete to help him out. As they got into the building, framed the rich man to seem crazy (by taking his sane genes from his brain and making it seem as if he burned all that money or hid it away) escaped to the rooftops Jack knew he wouldn’t make it over all four rooftops. He chose to be the one to go last to sacrifice himself in order to save his friends. He jumps across one building, then the next, then one more. Now death was looking at him straight in the eyes. But he didn’t give up he ran faster than he ever ran before. As all his other friends and members were on the other side waiting for him, his heart raced and time seemed to stop. He could do it! All it took was positive thinking! And at last he jumped…..

 and fell safely to the other side did a roll in order not to break his legs and stood up. He was controlling his breath and had made it come to the normal state, but his heart still beating at an unbelievable rate. All of a sudden he felt pain in his chest and he fell to his knees.

And finally he jumped his feet separated. He let the wind brush to his hair and with a grin closed his eyes….
